The Harvard Ed Portal and the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) are proud to present a free, outdoor evening of tango featuring members of Orquesta Bajofonderos from the A.R.T. production of Arrabal. Visit the underground world of Buenos Aires’ tango clubs through this tango-infused dance theater piece. From Buenos Aires, the band will play the propulsive, modern tango music of BAJOFONDO and Academy Award-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla. Join us before the performance for a tango lesson from Brighton-based studio Artango!
Harvard Ed Portal y American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) tienen el gusto de invitarlo a una noche de tango gratuita al aire libre en la que se presentarán miembros de la Orquesta Bajofonderos, de la producción Arrabal de A.R.T. Transpórtese al mundo subterráneo de las tanguerías de Buenos Aires con esta obra de teatro y danza que tiene el tango como hilo conductor. La banda bonaerense interpretará tangos con la música moderna y progresiva de BAJOFONDO y obras del compositor ganador del Óscar, Gustavo Santaolalla. Además, puede acompañarnos antes de la función a una clase de tango dirigida por el estudio Artango, de Brighton.
