The WORDplay Summer Theater and Writing Collaborative’s Final Production of Held Back: The School to Prison Pipeline, featuring plays written and performed by Boston Public School students.
This summer, Boston Public School eighth and ninth grade students worked hard with professional theater artists from the American Repertory Theater and writing mentors from 826 Boston on the fourth WORDplay Theater and Writing Collaborative. They drafted the plays, provided meaningful feedback to their peers, and now will perform on stage in front of an audience.
