Monday, March 6 2017 we will pay tribute to the great Albert Murray in both words and song. We will be joined by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and Paul Devlin, who co-edited The Library of America edition of Murray’s essays and memoirs. Additional speakers will include Hutchins Center Advisory Board member Lewis P. Jones III, and David Murray. David Murray will also perform with the David Murray Jazz Quintet.
This event is free and open to the public.
