(she/her) A.R.T.: Debut. YDE (EE-dee) is an 18-year-old, Australia-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actress. Initially, her performance instinct translated to the screen. In between starring roles on Netflix and Nickelodeon series, where she received a nomination at the Kids’ Choice Awards for Favorite Female TV star, she attracted a social audience of over 3 million fans and counting. At the same time, she continued to write music and hone her craft in sessions. Upon meeting powerhouse songwriter Justin Tranter, she not only found the perfect collaborator, but also a mentor. Tranter signed her to his label Facet records in partnership with Warner Records. In 2020, YDE debuted her first 2 singles (“Stopped Buying Diamonds” and “BlindLife”), and plans to release her first body of work in the spring of 2022.
