Nicole Shalhoub
Nicole Shalhoub started acting at age six in the Robert Brustein’s original adaptation of Characters in Search of an Author which traveled to the Olympic Arts Festival. Over the years she continuted to work locally in Boston theaters including Wheelock, MIT, Boston Center for the Arts, TheatreZone and the Theater Cooperative. During her time as a student at the American Repertory/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, she performed on the mainstage in the world premiere of Charles L. Mee’s Snow in June directed by Chen Shi-Zheng and The Island of Anyplace. Favorite A.R.T. Institute roles include A Lie of the Mind (Beth), Memory of Water (Teresa), and Marcus Stern's adaptation of Donnie Darko (Joanie).
Since graduating from the A.R.T. Institute, her Off-Broadway credits include The Clean House at Lincoln Center Theater, Hell House at St. Ann’s Warehouse, and Him and 100 Things That Make You Better at Chashama. Regionally, she has performed at The Goodman Theatre in Mirror of the Invisible World, adapted and directed by Mary Zimmerman, and at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in A Murder of Crows and Dr. Faustus Lights the Light, both directed by Trip Cullman. Other New York credits include: Fear Up: Stories from Baghdad at FringeNYC 2006; The Cherry Orchard workshop with the Atlantic Theater Company directed by Scott Zigler; ¿De Donde? with Turtle Shell Productions; and Black Codes at Manhattan Theatre Source. She alson performs with a sketch comedy group called The Rapid Response Team at Galapagos and the Kraine Theater. Film: Arranged and Casting About. She has a BA from Columbia University.
